Dear PLS faculty, staff, and postdocs:  Please join me for a free lunch at the fall CALS award ceremony.  The details from Elaine Mattes in the Dean's office are as  follows.  Note the short deadline for registration:

Please be reminded that registration for the Fall 2022 Awards Celebration is still OPEN until close of business day this Thursday, September 29.  The Celebration luncheon (yes, free lunch!) will be held on Monday, October 10 at 11:30 AM in the Student Union South Ballroom.  If you've already registered, thanks so much!  If you've not yet done so, I hope you will be able to attend.  If possible, please remind your faculty, staff and post docs that this in-person event will be the first since 2019.  We'd like to fill as many seats as possible, and truly celebrate all of our award recipients for their important achievements, so please spread the word and give your personnel a nudge!
