We have an alumni who is unhappy about the lack of service they’ve received. I know the number that was called is the Plant Sciences main number, and not Extension, but it is still not best practice to have voicemail messages go unanswered.

Would the two of you please work out a response to Mr. Britt and make sure that someone contacts him as soon as you’re able.

I am an UofA alumni, BS-68, My daughter and brother both are UofA grads-(BS,92,MD,96 and BS 72,MD,77). My Father was a faculty member 58-67. As you can see we are a UofA family.
Now to cut to the chase-about 2 weeks ago I left 2 voice mails at the Ext. Service Office (520 621-1977) ref an inquiry about the effects of flooding on a family vegetable garden involving uptake of possibly toxic substances. Since I have been away from the UofA so long I know no one in the Botany Dept. (e.g. plant physiologist) to contact. I elected to contact the Ext. Service as I thought they would be able to respond to my question.
To date I have received no response. This type of attention to inquiries is not what I would consider expected from the UofA.
I would appreciate if you would ask someone to contact me (tele 928 774-4245 or by e-mail). Thank you.
