Hello PLS Faculty


There are a few timely issues from the graduate committee.


1.       The SPLS graduate committee is inviting a few student candidates later this week to campus for a recruitment event. Please see the below google doc to sign up for any invited student you might be interested in meeting and mingle with candidate graduate students at some of the group events.


Thursday Feb 24: Gentle Ben’s 5:30pm

 Friday Feb 25 Boxyard -- meet at Marriott Lobby 5:30pm to ride the light rail

Details for each student application are available via the GradApp (http://apply.grad.arizona.edu/user/login).  Please contact Amanda A if you do not have access.


 Students will need to perform a COVID test prior to travel and a rapid COVID test upon arrive to campus.



2.      Please look at the Peter W Likins Graduate Fellowship award

Email me to let me know by Monday March 14 if you are interested in nominating a current 1st or 2nd year student.  The unit can only nominate a single student for this award, so if there is more than 1 nominee the graduate committee will vote.
