Just-in-Time Workshops and Webinars

Once again, the Office of Instruction and Assessment (OIA), in collaboration with the Digital Learning and (ODL <http://odl.arizona.edu/> ), Academic Technologies <https://it.arizona.edu/sp/academic-technologies>  are offering professional development opportunities before the start of the fall semester.

This year in addition to our face to face workshops, we have added webinars and 'hybrid' workshops that can be attended in person, or through Zoom meeting software.

For D2L Brightspace we are offering sessions on:

  *   What's new?
  *   D2L-Based Syllabi
  *   Accessibility
  *   Gradebook
  *   D2L for New Instructors

In addition, we have sessions on:

  *   Zoom
  *   Panopto
  *   PlayPosit
  *   Examity
  *   VoiceThread

But we're not just about technology; we have workshops on designing learning-centered syllabus and how to help students stay organized.  Attendees will have a chance to meet OIA consultants, and receive live demonstrations of interactive tools we have developed.

Face to face sessions take place in the Integrated Learning Center, and webinars will be using Zoom.
