Please help the Ecosystem Genomics committee identify fabulous candidates for potential recruitment as new UA faculty!

The Ecosystem Genomics cluster will include hires at the junior, mid-career and senior levels. These five positions are a great fit with/complement to many of the strengths and interests of SPLS: genomics of adaptation/phenomics, microbial ecology of soil microbes, plant evolutionary or ecological genomics, agroecosystem genomics, and earth system genomics.
We need your help in identifying potential applicants. Please go to this link to enter a bit of information about candidates for any or all of these opportunities!

This provides a portal to collect nominations across all colleges and units into one database.  Using that database, the committee will inform nominees about the cluster hire initiative, direct them to a web site on "Why UA" and "Why Tucson", and invite them to contact the committee if they are interested, or if they know of people who are interested in applying.  The committee asks that discretion be used in making nominations to the Survey Monkey.

It is ok to discuss ideas of people to contact in small groups within our unit, but please avoid discussions with broader constituencies outside the UA.  Also, please be aware of the wish to bring diversity to the forefront of the search process.
