[Plsfaculty] Important Information regarding Undergraduate Student Hiring - Revised Process

Hello All,

 

The next phase of the UAccess Mosaic Project - Undergraduate Student Hiring
On-Line, will go live next week.   

 

The system will streamline the work for the University of Arizona Central
Administration and allow them to collect hiring data in a main database.
The impact at the Unit Level is that hiring will take longer because the
approval process must be done in a series of chronological steps.   The new
process will take approximately 8 working days from the time the supervisor
requests the hire to the School Admin Staff.  

 

To start the hiring process, please send an email with the following
information to Laura deSteiguer ( <mailto:ldesteig at ag.arizona.edu>
ldesteig at ag.arizona.edu), with a copy to me:

 

*	Student's name
*	Account number for their salary
*	Estimated hours to be worked per week
*	Proposed hourly rate
*	Student's email address

 

Laura will contact the student to setup an appointment to start the hiring
process.
