Dear Faculty,

 

Please note the below email which indicates as of 1.25.13, the ERE rates on
Undergraduate Student employees will be reduced to 6% for payroll purposes
only.  This means the ERE expense on your accounts will be less by 6% for
your Undergraduate Employees for the remainder of this fiscal year.

 

But, for grant budgeting purposes, we still have to use the 12% ERE rate
that was published/approved this past spring.

IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT STUDENT ERE RATES:

 

As formerly discussed by Mark McGurk in the Auxiliary Business Meeting, the
Employee Related Expense rate for students has been reviewed by FSO and
reduced accordingly. As of the 1/25/2013 pay date and going forward, the
Student ERE rate will be applied at 6%. 

 

The 6% rate CANNOT be used for budgeting Grants and Contracts, please use
the approved rates as published at:
