[Plsfaculty] Outstanding TA?

Dear colleagues,

Do you teach a course in which a PLS or PLP graduate student serves/has
served as a TA? Do you feel that your TA is/was exceptionally meritorious?

If so, let's nominate him/her for the CALS Spring 2013 Meritorious Award
for Graduate Teaching Assistants.

Please let me know by sending me the name of your TA and a short paragraph
detailing why you feel he/she is/was particularly outstanding.  Please note
that only US citizens can be considered for the award.

We can nominate one MS and one PhD student as a School. Your paragraph will
help us select the outstanding TAs to nominate from SPLS. If your TA is
chosen as a nominee I will work with you to prepare the formal nomination.

*Your brief response (TA name, quick paragraph) by Wednesday at noon would
be appreciated.*
