[Plsfaculty] Opportunity for Graduate Funding-PEO Scholar Award

nominate for the 2014-15 P.E.O. Scholar Awards that is a merit award of $
15,000 offered yearly to women in graduate programs in the U.S.

The qualifications are:

1. A citizen of the US or Canada;

2. Is within 2 years of her graduation date and has at least one full
academic year of work remaining to complete her doctorate level degree or
postdoctoral research (that is, she will complete her degree no sooner than
May 2015 and no later than August 2016);

3. Is enrolled full-time in her graduate program at an accredited college,
university, or institute;

4. Demonstrates academic excellence and seriousness of purpose;

5. Has clearly defined career objectives.

I am the chairperson for the P.E.O. Chapter EJ, Green Valley, AZ for
nominating potential candidates who are recommended. Faculty should email me
with their suggestions and contact information for potential candidates. I
will interview them and be sure they qualify for nomination. I would like to
receive names and contact information of qualifying candidates by mid-August
2013.
