[Plsfaculty] Attributes of School Director

Dear colleagues,

Per my previous note, I sent our list of 'attributes for a school director'
to Dean Burgess last week. He responded with thanks and a request for more
information.

Specifically, he asked the authors of these two contributions to please
provide further information for the underlined words (that is, please
expand and give more detail about your vision for what would be embodied by
those traits).

 • Enthusiasm, *sophistication*, breadth of knowledge, *innovativeness*,
ability to make tough decisions.

 • *Leadership*, vision; an administrator, and does not compete with other
faculty in research but rather promotes faculty teamwork


As our submission process was anonymous, I can't track who submitted those
three lines of text -- hence my email to the whole faculty.

If you did author one of those lines, could I ask you to please address the
Dean's request by sending me your thoughts by email (arnold at ag.arizona.edu)?
I will compile them and respond to his request accordingly.
