With the upcoming special elections in the next few months and the regular
primary and general elections later this year, we want to remind all
University of Arizona employees and supervisors of the boundaries for use of
University time and resources for political activity.

This web page summarizes the laws and policies that govern us, as employees
of the University of Arizona, a taxpayer supported institution.  Violation
may result in significant penalties.  Employees are urged to consult with
their supervisors if they are unsure about the legal limits of their
political activities.  In addition, department heads, deans and directors
are encouraged to seek further guidance, as needed, from the Office of
External Relations or the Office of General Counsel.
