This is a reminder that the APMC will be hosting a National Institute of
Food and Agriculture grant workshop via the web at the Maricopa Agricultural
Center. This all day workshop (8:30 to 4:00) out of Washington State
University is titled "Planning and Managing Systems Based Trans-disciplinary
Projects for USDA/NIFA Programs" 

 

The workshop will cover grant programs such as the Sustainable Agriculture
Research and Education (SARE) program, the Specialty Crops Research
Initiative (SCRI) and the Organic Research and Extension Initiative (OREI).
These programs require and integrated, systems based approach. The workshop
will cover grant planning and management of systems based projects.

It is a new era for USDA grants. This workshop will provide detailed
information on how to succeed. 

 

You can participate online without pre-registering. If you plan on attending
the MAC session, please RSVP via email to ensure that we provide enough
