[Plsfaculty] Microbiolgoy Commission and Curriculum Committee

Several of you have volunteered to serve on a curriculum committee for
Microbiology. This was taken into consideration when the committee was
selected but much more weight was given to faculty that are currently
teaching microbiology courses. Fortunately, in PLS, we have a number of
great faculty from which to select but in the end we asked Marc Orbach and
Betsy Arnold to serve on the committee and they have graciously accepted.
The attached memo from Gene Sander provides some information about the
Microbiology Commission and identifies the rest of curriculum committee that
has been formed and the charge of this committee. As this committee will
begin its business very soon, I would ask all interested faculty to voice
your opinions/concerns about Microbiology to Marc or Betsy so that they can
take it up with the Curriculum Committee.
