[Plsfaculty] David Baltrus and Bryan Wang

I want to thank all of you who helped with Bryan Wang's second visit. We
will be sending him an agreed to formal offer in the next week.
 
David Baltrus, from David Galbraith committee's search, also did an
excellent interview. He will be returning to campus with his spouse. He will
be here all day next Tues and Wed. We are very keen to recruit David so I
would like him to meet some of the other microbiologist from campus. I will
arrange something with the two new faculty in VSM and I would ask Jeff S to
let our SWES microbiology colleagues know about this visit.   I am attaching
David's CV. Please advise if you are interested in meeting with David or
hosting a lunch or dinner with David and his wife. He is very serious about
this offer and I suspect we will be making a formal offer right after his
visit.
 
Becky Mosher has received a formal offer and has indicated that she will
accept it and join us on 16 August.
