Subject: Student Travel Grants from GPSC
Need travel money for a conference, technical school, or collaboration?
The Graduate and Professional Student Council (GPSC) offers *Travel Grants*
that provide funding assistance of up to $500 for graduate and professional
students who are attending or presenting their research at academic or
professional conferences. The travel grants are a valuable resource for
graduate and professional students to develop their academic and
professional careers by sharing their research and establishing connections
with fellow practitioners and researchers.
The next two rounds of Travel Grant applications are due on April 1 and June
1. A Travel Grant can only be submitted for travel that has not yet occurred
by the date of the deadline, or for travel that began within one month prior
to the deadline.
Eligibility:
*The applicant must be enrolled in a graduate or professional degree
program at the U of A at the time of travel. Applicant must also be a
student in order to receive the award.
*The applicant must be in good academic standing.
*The applications must be complete and in the format specified to be
considered.
*The date of travel must be after the deadline or have occurred one
month prior to the deadline.
