[Plsfaculty] Scheduled Monthly faculty meetings

The faculty meetings for the coming year are set. They will be held as
listed below (3rd Tues of the month) in Forbes 307 at noon. You are welcome
to bring a sack lunch or beverage. If you have topics that you want to
discuss at any of these meetings, please advise me before the meeting. I
will ask Committee Chairs to brief the faculty from time to time but I will
give ample notice. I have listed some topics for the 20 Jul mtg but please
feel free to send my any additional topics. From time to time, I may invite
a member of the administration in for a short talk to update us on one or
more pressing issues. I will ask Mario to coordinate with me so that faculty
that cannot be present can listen in and view any prepared slides.

2.       A report from Ramin Yadegari and Hans VanEtten on the weekly
seminars.
3.       What are your priority hires for this coming year if we have one
position, two positions, etc? 
4.       Departmental updates - KAF
5.       New joint faculty - David Galbraith
