[Plsfaculty] Gathering August 7 to celebrate Libby's contributions

Dear Colleagues,

 

For those who have RSVP’d that they can join us on August 7, Margaret and I
live at 840 E. 7th Street (nearest cross streets are Euclid and 6th).  It is
almost exactly ½ mile from my front door to my office door, so saying we are
close to campus is a bit of an understatement.  When you arrive, walk
through the driveway to the back yard, where we will be gathering.  If you
get lost call my cell phone number (520-955-2931) and we will talk you in.

 

Parties at our house are outside, so dress appropriately and it is why we
will not start until 7:00 p.m., with food about 7:30 p.m.  Folks have asked
about bringing things, but basically we will furnish the food, but if you
would like to help out with beverages, that would be welcome.  However, your
being there is all we ask.

 

If you find you can come and have not said so yet, just show-up.  I always
seem to order too much food.
