The Office of the Vice President for Research is accepting pre-proposals for
the NIH/NCRR Shared Instrumentation Program.  The guidelines for the program
can be found at http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/pa-files/PAR-10-082.html.
The deadline for receipt of applications at NIH is March 23, 2010.  Although
the University may submit more than one proposal, it is important to make
sure that there are not duplicate requests for instrumentation.
Pre-proposals should include:  

 

*        Brief description of the instrumentation and its application

*        The user base and who it will impact

*        How the instrumentation will increase the UAs ability to compete
for grants and contracts

*        If there is similar instrumentation on campus, how will the UA
benefit form duplication

 

Please submit pre-proposals (no more than two pages) to Angela Repp by
Wednesday, February 17, 2010.
