Subject: Proposal Issues
The next few days are incredibly heavy National Science Foundation
deadlines.
A majority of the NSF proposals that we are reviewing have not followed the
3 day proposal deadline. Keep in mind: WE WILL NOT GUARANTEE SUBMISSION OF
ANY PROPOSAL WITHIN 3 DAYS OF THE SPONSORS DEADLINE.
We have about 25 proposals that are due to NSF tomorrow. We do not have
access to these proposals yet. Proposals that are following the 3 day
policy will be submitted first. All others will be submitted in order
received.
Common issues that are plaguing the NSF submissions:
1. Fully signed routing sheet. We will not submit any proposal without
a fully signed PRS.
2. The proposal that we are submitting must be included in the Current
& Pending Form.
3. Effort in the Current and Pending should match the budget and PRS.
4. Do not allow SRO access until the proposal is complete. Allowing
SRO access to an incomplete proposal does not put you "in line" for
submission. It causes delays for everyone else.
