Hello All,

 

For those of you who plan to submit a NSF Plant Genome grant this month.
You are not alone as there is a NIH deadline on the same date.  Therefore,
we will be competing with SPS time for review/routing and submission.

 

I will need all of your initial budget information - start date, title,
budget request by this Thursday (1.14.10) afternoon.  Then I can create the
budget so that we can start routing on Tuesday 1.19.10.

 

The UA SPS 3 day rule is not my rule but the UA rule that was approved and
implemented by the Faculty Senate, the President, the Provost and the Vice
President of Research.   Here is the web link for the 3 day rule

This will impact greatly on you as the 3 day rule means that your grant
proposal must be fully submitted and we allow SRO access on 1.22.10.
Whereas most of you would like the weekend to work on the grant proposal,
please speak with me about this matter.   But, routing is essential and
needs to be starting no later that Tuesday 1.19.10 due to the multiple
offices the proposal is routed for UA approval.
