[Plsfaculty] we are out of space on the Hades server

Many of you use the Hades server for lab data storage. It holds 4 TBs and is
nearly full. Rather than asking you to delete old files, as that would be
very time-consuming and we would be revisiting this issue in another 6-12
months, we are going to triple the space on this server. I want to inform
you of this not so much for the cost, $1,680, but so that you are aware that
Mario will need to move everything from the present server to another one
while Hades is upgraded. We are sure that your data will remain intact and,
in any event, it is backed up but we want to be transparent about this.
Mario will contact each lab individually so that you can disconnect while he
moves your data. Thanks so much
