[Plsfaculty] Exhibits at May 3 President's Club event

Many of you or your students may be interested in doing something to
showcase PLS on 3 May. Please read below and let Ann or me know if you can
put something together for this event. Ken


The UA Foundation President's Club reception will be Monday, May 3 from 5:00
to 7:00pm at the Student Union North Ballroom.  

On Monday, May 3, from 5-7 pm, the UA Foundation will host an on-campus
reception for
Tucson members of the President's Club (donors giving $25K or more) in the
Student Union North Ballroom.  We
have an opportunity to showcase CALS' best work at this event, which
features a "trade show" of university-wide research, programs and
activities.

If any of you have off-the-shelf exhibits or displays that can come together
fairly easily, please let us know what work from your department you'd like
us to feature.

This is a lay audience, so show-and-tell gadgets, good visuals, and
articulate students or enthusiastic faculty should play well.

My office needs to reserve CALS display tables this week, ideally by close
of business Thursday.  We think we can get about half a dozen display
tables, so let us know your ideas for featured projects and we'll coordinate
a nice representation from the College.
