Scott has decided that it is time to do something more interesting in his
life and he has decided to resign his position effective today. He will be
removing his personal items and returning his keys in the next couple of
days. There are some pieces of equipment in his lab that would be useful to
others. I will be getting together with a number of you in the next week or
two to decide how we should move forward. In addition, as Hans has a grant
with Scott we need to ensure that any equipment purchased on that grant is
used for that grant. Until we can inventory the equipment, etc, please do
not remove anything from the lab. To be fair, I have "borrowed" a few items
that I have been using for PLS 361. Mario will need to decide what to do
about any other computers so I am copying him. 
 
If you see Scott around, please wish him well in his new endeavors. Please
feel free to share this news with staff and students.
