Subject: New NIH Funding Opportunity

 

NIH has announced a new funding opportunity, RFA-OD-09-003, (funding
mechanism is RC1) as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of
2009.  The new program will support research on topic areas that address
specific scientific and health research challenges in biomedical and
behavioral research that would benefit from 2-year jumpstart funds.  The
funding period is for a two years, and the requested budgets may not exceed
$500,000 total costs per year for a maximum of $1,000,000 total costs over a
two-year project period.  Proposals are due April 27, 2009.
