Dear all: 

 

This is a friendly reminder of the NSF 2/9th rule for those of you who
prepare the supplemental compensation paperwork.  Please forward this email
to your faculty members as necessary.

 

Please keep in mind that National Science Foundation (NSF) limits the annual
salary payment from all NSF funds to 2/9th of an academic appointee's annual
salary.  

 

If your faculty member has been paid from NSF funds during the semester,
he/she may not be eligible for the full two-month pay from NSF during the
summer period.  

 

Systems Controls has posted the Summer Supplemental Compensation Schedule
for 2009 on their web site at:
