In clinical studies, the COVID-19 vaccines have been shown to reduce the risk of symptomatic infections by 90-98% in vaccinated individuals, compared with unvaccinated individuals. Based on these numbers, some risk for infection does remain. Given the very
high community transmission rates in Pima County and Arizona and the possibility of encountering coronavirus variants, you should remain cautious and continue to wear a mask, maintain physical distancing, and wash your hands frequently. <br>
