<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span style="color:#1F497D">As a volunteer, you are part of a community that is instrumental in delivering an unforgettable experience to graduating students, their families, and their friends!<o:p></o:p></span></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span style="color:#1F497D"><o:p> </o:p></span></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span style="color:#1F497D">Please mark your calendar for a training event on Thursday, May 2, 2019 in Gallagher Theater from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. This training is mandatory for our volunteers in order to meet each other and to learn your
important role in this large, complex campus event. On Commencement day, you can expect to work from 3:30pm to 11:00pm. Positions vary, however the majority require volunteers to be outdoors with minimal shade and to perform physical tasks such as holding
signage, directing graduates and guests, handing out event programs, distributing water bottles, and more. You may be asked to enforce safety policies, such as keeping aisles clear and directing non-wheelchair guests to appropriate seating areas. If you have
concerns about performing such tasks, please let us know using this form.<o:p></o:p></span></b></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span style="color:#1F497D">Volunteers will receive a t-shirt, clear bag, and dinner! We also have childcare available at Campus Rec’s Commencement Camp.<o:p></o:p></span></b></p>
