from our off-campus computers, tablets, and smartphones. The name of that server is <a href="http://smtpgate.email.arizona.edu/" target="_blank">smtpgate.email.arizona.edu</a> and the way you connect to it must change.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">UITS has acquired an appliance to combat the large volume of spam received by UAConnect accounts. This new appliance is already in place for incoming mail, and according to
all reports it is doing a good job of blocking incoming spam. But UA also filters outgoing mail to prevent us from spamming anyone. On January 27, 2014 <a href="http://smtpgate.email.arizona.edu/" target="_blank">smtpgate.email.arizona.edu</a> will start
filtering outgoing mail and if the settings on your off-campus devices is incorrect then you will be unable to send mail.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
