[Plantsci] SPLS: Retreat - thank you and congratulations

Dear SPLS community,

I'd like to take a moment to thank our Retreat Committee for a truly engaging and enjoyable retreat last Friday.

It was a real pleasure to see our School shine through the quality of our community and our shared investments in research, instruction, and Extension. I thank everyone who attended for taking time out of your busy schedules to connect across our School. I know I'm not alone in having learned a great deal from our invited speakers, our faculty presenters, our postdoc and graduate student 'best paper' competitors, and our undergraduate, graduate, and postdoc poster presenters.

A follow-up note will highlight our award winners, and in the meantime, the State of the School presentation and agenda will be archived in our faculty Brightspace page.

To our Retreat Committee — Ravi and Kelsey, Ali, Rod, Xiong, and Dave R. — thank you again for a terrific day. Your investment made a difference, and I thank you all for your service.
