Subject: [Plantsci] SPLS: Change in the business office, and congratulations Nic Propp

Dear SPLS community,

I am writing to share news of a change in our SPLS business office, and at the same time, to share my warmest congratulations and best wishes for Nic Propp, who has been selected to be the new Business Manager for another team in CALES. Congratulations, Nic!

Over these past months, Nic has been an essential part of our SPLS team. I have appreciated his hard work, talents, and friendly spirit. Thus, it's both joyful and bittersweet as he advances to take on new responsibilities and opportunities.

Fortunately, this news is not a 'goodbye' at this time: Nic's essential role will continue with us until we can transition to onboarding new financial professionals to support our unit's endeavors. We have searches ongoing at this time. To ease the transition and ensure continuity, Nic will work with us at half-time for the foreseeable future. His general schedule will include afternoon time devoted to his present responsibilities for SPLS, including AGI. He will work remotely most of the time.

I thank Nic for his time with us and for his ongoing commitment in support of SPLS.
