The Lovejoy Center welcomes Dr. Josh Tewksbury<https://lovejoycenter.arizona.edu/events/lovejoy-invited-speaker-josh-tewksbury>, Director of the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute, for a talk and round table discussion on “Accuracy and action, individuals and institutions—making science count in a changing world.”

Dr. Tewksbury is also giving the EEB Seminar on Monday, October 27 at 3pm in ENR2 S107. Title: Tackling complexity in tropical forest science – the last 100 years and the next

Dr. Tewksbury is an ecologist and conservation scientist whose career spans research, leadership, and global collaboration. As Director of the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute, he leads one of the world’s premier institutions for tropical science, supporting a wide range of fundamental and use-inspired research, engagement, and science to conservation work across the tropics.
