[Plantsci] FW: NEW way to order Amazon!!!

Hello Everyone,
I hope your summer is going well.  In the Business office we are wrapping up our Year End activities and I wanted to reach out to you all about the Amazon orders.   Amazon is now available through Buyways and you can access it by clicking on the Shop Catalogs in UAccess Financials. (see images below) Once in Buyways you will need to make sure your email address is populated under the View my profile in the right-hand corner.  Then you can find the Amazon tile under the Office/Computer area.

I am bringing this to your attention because using the Buyways system means you do not have to worry about uploading the receipts to the Smartsheets and we do not have to reconcile the transaction it becomes just a quick approval on our end.  When you use the Pcard on the Amazon site directly your card is charged when the items are shipped, so 1 order can be broken out into 10 different transactions.  This means you would need to provide receipts for all 10 transactions, and we would have to reconcile all of them.  Last year between the 3 departments we had over 600 Amazon orders, by switching to Buyways this will save everyone a lot of time and frustration, allowing us all to focus on more important tasks.

Buyways Amazon orders will only ship through central receiving so this may not work as well for some of you not located on campus, but we are looking into ways to change that if possible.  The Business office is happy to help get you and your lab started with using the Buyways system, please just reach out and we can schedule a time to meet and walk you through the setup process.
