[Plantsci] PacBio SMRT Pitch - get free PacBio sequencing

Dear all,

If you work with DNA sequencing data, you will be interested in this opportunity:

PacBio has a grant program that will enable free sequencing for up to $75,000 - yes that's right!!

The program is open to researchers of Arizona and Utah only, so it is likely that there will not be many applications - more chances to get the prize.
Applicants must submit a 500-word proposal by November 30, 2024. It does not need to be too technical or precise, they want to award original and ambitious ideas. Five finalists will be invited to present their pitch at a PacBio event in February, where the company will select the winning project.
