[Plantsci] Welcoming Danielle Buhrow

Dear SPLS community,

It is my pleasure to welcome Danielle Buhrow<https://economics.arizona.edu/person/danielle-buhrow> to our growing network of support for SPLS. Danielle serves as Graduate Program Coordinator for Agricultural & Resource Economics, where she also serves as an Academic Advisor, Senior II.

Danielle will work with us part-time for the remainder of the fall semester to support our graduate students and to assist with room and course scheduling / related tasks.

We are quite fortunate to have her join us in these capacities: Danielle is an exceptional professional who brings not only expertise in all elements of her position, but also, accolades and accomplishments with respect to supporting mental health, developing and implementing inclusive practices, and fostering success. As Danielle continues to come up to speed in the next two weeks, I ask that questions regarding our graduate program or graduate student needs please come first to Mark Beilstein and me (mbeilstein at arizona.edu, arnold at ag.arizona.edu).

In turn, questions regarding room and course scheduling can be sent to the email list highlighted in my note earlier this morning about spring 2025 courses (jimenez at arizona.edu, danielleb at arizona.edu, orchard at arizona.edu, mbeilstein at arizona.edu, rpalaniv at arizona.edu, arnold at ag.arizona.edu).

This way, we can work together with Danielle in support of our graduate program, room and course scheduling, and related needs, and maintain needed communication within the unit at the same time. We will be mindful of the amount of time Danielle can grant to SPLS given her many duties.

We thank Danielle so much for working with us, and I thank everyone in SPLS for patience and grace during our period of adjustment and alignment. Please feel free to contact me with questions anytime.
