This is a friendly reminder that you have until tonight to complete the missing information form and upload your profile photos. Please see the email below for detailed instructions.

Thank you to those who have provided the information and uploaded your photos. However, the number of respondents is far fewer than the number of people with missing profile photos, as indicated by the numerous "A" logos displayed in our directories instead of your smiling faces.. Your participation will help us make our website more professional and aesthetically pleasing.

For the adjunct and emeritus faculty members, I apologize for not sending you the original email request, as I recently realized that the Plant Science Listserv may not have included your emails. If you have difficulties responding to the web forms on time, please email me the requested information directly.

Dear All,
The Website Committee would like to request your assistance in cleaning up and updating the new SPLS website (https://spls.arizona.edu). The website is our public-face platform, and it is very important that we make it professional, accurate, and up to date. Please take a moment from your busy schedule to respond to the following requests by Tuesday, Nov. 5th:


  1.  If any of your personal information is missing or incorrect, please document it clearly in the Google Sheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1l7EFDhHDb6iX8O3ONyRExNbbSrXRG0sg4llbzmeet6I/edit?usp=sharing. The Website Committee is also collecting your social media handles in the same form for future campaigns to increase SPLS visibility. Providing your social media handles is voluntary; please share them if you are comfortable doing so.
  2.  If your profile photo is missing or needs updating, please upload a high quality photo to https://arizona.app.box.com/f/6b01c17cd3ea4b1b86eb7f81f159dfd3. Also mark "Yes" in the "Photo Update?" column in the Google Sheet so that we can track who is updating their photos and monitor the progress by CALES Web Team.

A major overhaul of faculty profile pages is expected soon, according to Rose Brandt from ALVSCE Strategic Communications. She is working with UITS to make a significant update to the UA's website system, which will allow faculty/staff to log into their individual profile pages anytime to make edits and updates. These centralized profile pages will then be linked to the faculty profile pages. This update is expected to happen within a month.

Additional webpage content issues will be addressed soon by asking relevant parties to review them carefully. Please stay tuned for further information.
