This article will guide you through the process of setting up NetID+ which is the two-factor authentication (2FA) solution at the university. Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your account.
This article focuses on setting up NetID+ on your smartphone. The term refers to your NetID plus an additional authentication method: something you know (your NetID and password) and something you have (smartphone app). NetID+ is required for all active members of the university community.
The recommended technical solution for setting up NetID+ is the DUO Mobile smartphone app so this article will focus on that option.
