[Plantsci] SPLS Call for New Website Photos

Hi everyone -

My name is Jake and I recently moved into a role overseeing the marketing and communications efforts for the School of Plant Sciences. After serving this role in Environmental Science for the past year and a half, I am excited to expand my reach and support SPLS as well! I am looking forward to meeting you all soon so I can walk through the resources I, along with the rest of the CALES Marketing and Communications team, can provide.

In supporting SPLS, our top priority is revitalizing your website.

As you all probably know, the CALES Marketing and Communications team, with tremendous support from the SPLS Website Committee, is working diligently to revamp the School's website. We are now asking for your support as we are seeking fresh, high-quality photographs for the site.

Our vision is to showcase the authentic student and research experience with vibrant images, straying away from generic stock photos. This could be photos of people - researchers in the field/lab or students in the classroom. It could be photos of research subjects, like beautiful plants or microorganisms. Anything you think showcases great aspects of SPLS, please send along. Do you have any photos you can share to lend to the cause?

How to upload - Please upload all photos to this Box folder<https://arizona.app.box.com/f/6b01c17cd3ea4b1b86eb7f81f159dfd3>. For ease of organization, please upload them in a new subfolder with your name and area of photographs (Field research, classroom, etc.).

Technical Specs

  *   Recommended width is 1110px and resolution is 72 PPI
  *   File types accepted: png, gif, jpg, jpeg


Model Release Form - For photos with any people in them, we will need a digitally signed copy of the model release form, which is attached to this email.
