Title: The Arizona Genomics Institute – research programs and genomic services

Abstract: In this seminar, Dario will provide an overview of the Arizona Genomics Institute’s (AGI) research focus and its colocation within the School of Plant Sciences. He will also introduce the various services offered through the AGI Service Center, including DNA and RNA extraction, long-read sequencing, Hi-C, and bioinformatics support. The goal is to raise awareness among researchers about the resources available at AGI for advancing their genomic research. The seminar will conclude with a practical example demonstrating how to develop and analyze a dataset to generate a state-of-the-art genome assembly.
