Hello Everyone!

It’s another Wonderful Wednesday- hope all is well.  I have a few things this week to communicate.  😊


  1.  Any events or expenses that will be funded in any part by school common funds (non-grant/award funding) requires a budget to be submitted prior to incurring any expenses.  This budget will need to be reviewed and approved by Dr. Galbraith and myself before any expenses are paid.  This is critical at this point in time due to the college deficit situation.


  1.  PHOTOS PHOTOS PHOTOS!  Please encourage all employees to submit cell phone photos for the photo contest.  We need these photos for advertising and many other constructive purposes.  I want to really get to the essence of our school with these photos and the best way to do that is to collect photos from those that are out there making it happen every day.



  1.  Account reports are coming.  Not sure what to say except that I have and continue to underestimate the amount of time and effort needed to get everything caught up.  The accountants and I are doing our best and we are almost over the Mount Vesuvius (prior to eruption, but just barely) that getting the account corrections completed had become.  We are making progress and have almost completed in getting the many accounts that have closed since May cleared up and closed out as well as moving effort to the correct accounts for past, present, and future accuracy.  Soon, you will have all the information soon as we are able to put all the moving pieces together.



  1.  I will be out next week for medical reasons.  I am going to keep up on emails to some degree and work on finishing up any account reports as needed.  I will be slow to respond to emails sent to me directly.
