You are invited to participate in the University of Arizona Field Day on October 19, 2023 from 7:30 am - 11:00 am at the Campus Ag Center in Tucson to rate plants in the University of Arizona Landscape Plant Irrigation Trial. This trial evaluates plant material to identify low water-use plants for Arizona. Plants are evaluated over a three-year period, irrigated regularly during the first summer after planting, with performance assessment occurring over several differing irrigation treatments during the second and third year. To ensure our evaluations are representative of industry opinions and preferences we would like to invite you to evaluate our plant material during our ratings event on October 19. Once you RSVP we will provide detailed directions a few days before the event. Participation entails recording your aesthetic preferences for one individual shrub per treatment for each species/cultivar, providing the opportunity to evaluate the performance of the species across all treatments without rating the whole field.
The ratings take about 45 - 60 minutes to complete and participants may arrive any time between 7:00 am to 10 am. Participation is voluntary.
Space is limited, please RSVP here<https://uarizona.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_8ALVw7IDpoi4opE>. A reminder along with a map to the site will be sent by email the week of the event.
Please pass this invitation to others who may be interested to participate.
