[Plantsci] COVID 19 Information

Hello all -

Although we have been at this for 3 years now, I wanted to remind everyone of what to do if someone tests positive for Covid-19 in your area.

  1.  Ensure the individual leaves the workplace and collect any information needed:
     *   Areas they were in
     *   Individuals who were in close contact (6ft distance for 15 minutes or longer)
  2.  Strongly encourage the employee to self-report: https://health.arizona.edu/SAFER
  3.  Report the positive test (as their supervisor): https://health.arizona.edu/SAFER
  4.  As of January 2023, FM is no longer cleaning/disinfecting offices if your work area experiences a covid case.
  5.  The UA is still supplying the disinfectant, so if you want to clean a work area after finding out about a covid case, please let Lizeth know if in FORBES or Christopher know if in Marley and we can supply a bottle.
  6.  If in other areas- advise the appropriate building manager

NOTE: the name of the individual should not move beyond the individual's supervisor and online required reporting.  For disinfection or notification purposes to the building, names are not needed, and should remain confidential.
