[Plantsci] Wonderful but late Wednesday

Hello Everyone!

I wasn't able to get an email out last week with everything we, in the business office, are trying to get accomplished prior to closure.  It almost slipped by me today.  I am not intentionally not communicating, I just don't have much wonderful news to share, I'm hoping to have better information next week.

The accountants are concentrating on getting account reports to PIs this week.  Lizzy and our student worker, Devionne'Tae are covering the front desk duties until replace the adming position there.  This won't happen until the end of January due to the closure and time frames for submitting postings.

I am also working on account reports and corrections to them.  We are behind and trying very hard to get caught up.  This seems to be the same situation with many departments from FSO down.

As soon as account reports and transactions are caught up I will be able to focus on communicating to you all the financial health of the unit.  I am waiting for after a meeting on December 15th that will hopefully give me good information to share with everyone.
