Dear all:

I'd like to welcome you back to the School of Plant Sciences for the fall semester.  I hope your summer has been going well.  I look forward to hearing about your experiences!

In particular, I'd like to extend a special welcome to all newcomers to the School.  We hope you come to enjoy your experiences here as you become familiar with the environment and our expectations.

I know I speak for all the faculty in extending our best wishes to all students, postdocs, and staff. Without you, the School would not be able to achieve its aspirations as a top class unit at the University of Arizona.

As Interim Director, I am here to respond to your questions and concerns, and to share your achievements.  Please do not hesitate to contact me at any time.
