[Plantsci] Another Wonderful Wednesday Again!

Hello to everyone!

I am going to be completely honest with you all.  Due to various additional staffing issues the last week or so, the business office is not presently meeting all the critical goals I set for the first of August.  The team isn't that far behind but are not where I want us or need to be.  The good news is that we have found an excellent individual to fill the Accountant II position.  Barring any unforeseen circumstances, this person will start next Thursday.  I will send out a formal introduction email once she is onboarded.   The interview committee did a fantastic job finding such a great candidate possessing several years of UA accounting experience, lots of enthusiasm, and many other skills that our team and unit needs!

You all have been very understanding and patient during this period of transition and it is much appreciated by everyone in the business office as we are trying our best to keep up with everything.  I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and will be ever so happy to send Wonderful Wednesday emails that are a lot more Wonderful!

I am going to cut this week's correspondence a bit short so I can get back to it.
