[Plantsci] UA Cares is Underway!

Hello All,

The annual UA Cares Campaign begins today and will go through November 12th! If you would like to donate, volunteer, fundraise, You Do YOU!

Here are some resources if you would like to give:

  *   The UA Cares tile on UAccess<https://uaccess.arizona.edu/> Employee is active- You may choose an organization to give to and set-up a payroll deduction. If you are having trouble with the payroll deduction on UAccess, here are some tutorials<https://uacares.arizona.edu/resources> to walk you through the process.
     *   It is encouraged to give online, but if you are not able to through UAccess, you may complete the attached Pledge Form and email back to erinkorte at email.arizona.edu<mailto:erinkorte at email.arizona.edu> and I will forward to the appropriate person in charge of UA Cares for the University.
  *   Giving Search<https://give.uafoundation.org/giving-search>- If you do not know the official name or ID number for the organization you would like to give to, you may use this link to find out that information. You can then use the information for the online giving in UAccess Employee.
     *   List of potential Non-Profits<https://uacares.arizona.edu/sites/default/files/Donate%20to%20Non-profit%20organizations_1_0.pdf> you can search for
     *   List of potential UA Programs<https://uacares.arizona.edu/sites/default/files/UA%20Program%20Document.pdf> you can search for
  *   United Way Volunteer Opportunities<https://unitedwaytucson.org/days-of-caring/>- here are some volunteer opportunities around Tucson if you would like to give-back versus give-money.

Several departments around the University usually do some type of fundraising. I will forward those opportunities as they come in, you may also check in on the UA Cares Calendar<https://uacares.arizona.edu/calendar> for information. If you or your lab would like to do a fundraiser, let me know! I can forward the information to the official UA Cares Director and your event will be advertised via email, listservs, newsletters and the UA Cares Calendar!
