[Plantsci] Wired Network security

The university is updating the wired network connections.
Forbes Building will be switch over on Monday Oct 19th
Marley building will be switch over on Thursday Oct 22nd

All of the PCs that are part of the plant sciences Active directory domain will not see any changes because the servers will take care of authenticating them.
For any stand alone windows\MAC computers, when the building is switch over it will ask you to authenticate by using your netid username and password to connect to the network.
Starting today please make sure that all your computers and printers are turned on 24\7, the university will be scanning all of the ethernet ports to see what is connected if they don't see a computer in a port they might turn off the port.

The University is updating security on the wired network (Ethernet
connection to a wall jack). As a building's network is switched to
requiring the new policy, it will at the same time no longer require
DHCP registration for devices connected to the wired network. This is
to comply with changes requested by the AZ State Auditor General.
