Dear HR Alliance Colleagues,
Last week, President Robbins announced a delay to the Furlough and Furlough-Based Salary Programs until Aug. 10. We will continue to provide additional information as it becomes available, and we encourage you to check our Furlough and Furlough-Based Salary Programs webpage<https://arizona.us9.list-manage.com/track/click?u=0aeb616343625dbd0d696bf1f&id=fbaa81fd3f&e=3a4c9aa2f8> for regular updates.
With the delay, employees should not take Personal Flex time or Furlough time beyond the current pay period which ends on July 12. We understand frustration caused by the disruption to plans and continue to listen to employee feedback.
We recognize that employees may be unable to change their plans and ask that they consider the following options:

  1.  Personal Flex Time or Furlough may be changed to vacation or sick time, as applicable.

  2.  For the pay period of June 29 – July 12 only, scheduled Personal Flex Time or Furlough may be taken and reported on timesheets. The hours will be applied when the programs are implemented after Aug. 10.
