Dear HR Alliance Colleagues,
The University of Arizona has 26 paydays every year, but only 24 of those paydays include voluntary benefits deductions.

Mandatory retirement deductions continue on all paydays, but when there is a third payday in a month (such as Thursday, Dec. 31), there are no deductions for supplemental retirement contributions or for other benefits such as medical and dental insurance.

We are getting this information to you early due to University Winter Closure. In addition, please note that the third paycheck this month falls on a Thursday.
