-----

All sessions will be 9-11 am (MST) on Tuesday through Zoom at https://arizona.zoom.us/j/437855363. To get the most out of these workshops, participants should bring a laptop with R and RStudio installed<https://jcoliver.github.io/learn-r/000-setup-instructions.html>.

  * May 05: Open R lab: Bring your R questions or just come in to write some code and enjoy coffee and pastries (sorry, but you'll have to bring your own coffee and pastries for the time being).
  *   May 12: Open R lab.
  * May 19: Introduction to Functional Programming: The DRY<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Don%27t_repeat_yourself> principle aims to reduce repetition in software engineering. By writing and using functions to accomplish a set of instructions multiple times, you reduce the opportunities for mistakes and often improve performance of the code you write. Functional programming makes it easy to apply the same analyses to different sets of data, without excessive copy-paste-update cycles that can introduce hard-to-detect errors.
  *   May 26: Open R lab.
