[Plantsci] UA Cares campaign under way

Hello All:

The UA Cares<https://uacares.arizona.edu/content/home> campaign is now in full swing! This campaign is geared toward allowing employees to give to any university program and service through the UA Foundation and any non-profit organization or Community Impact Area through the United Way of Tucson. UA Cares also mobilizes employees to serve throughout Tucson. The campaign runs October 8th – November 22nd. Here is some information if you are interested:

  *   Charitable ($) giving: there are 3 options. All instructions are here- https://uacares.arizona.edu/content/give. Yes you can give right from your paycheck and you can choose where your funds go to, super convenient!
  *   Volunteer/Donation opportunities: https://uacares.arizona.edu/calendar
  *   Volunteer through United Way directly: https://www.unitedwaytucson.org/volunteer

I will post fliers on the SPLS department bulletin board outside the business office (Forbes 303) with various on-campus campaigns. To give a few examples: International soup & bread sale by the College of Humanities, Chorizo Breakfast by the Budget Office, Chili Cook-Off by Facilities Management, etc. If you want information directly, let me know, I can forward emails/fliers as I get them😊.
